Great story. Even better because there is proof that it is true.
So Temek (my good friend and pal) sends me a tell saying he wants to run Black Morass so he can do his Elixir Specc alchemy quest. Me being the great friend that I am (and knowing that he already discovered Pure Death) decided this would be a great idea and started putting a group together. To our dismay none of our friends who played either the tanking or dps classes wanted to go, so we were down to pugging it.
First person i send a tell to is a priest / hunter combo who are already in the LFG for Black Morass. I send the priest a tell saying if they "disband their group, I'll invite them both and we'll just need a tank". The priest proceeds to tell me that "3 priests would never work, BECAUSE WE NEED CC." ... ... ... I proceed to explain to her that i'm in T5/T6 equivalent gear and that we'll be fine on DPS and there is nothing to CC, so there is no point in bringing someone who can CC.
The priest doesn't believe me and proceeds to demand that i "Link my gear" to her. I did. and the rest.. well... read for yourself...
