While most healers may not need to grab a threat meter, all DPS should. The list of reasons are pretty obvious, and you all have one anyway so...

The reason Omen seems to update so often is from the bugs, performance issues, or threat miscalculations that are constantly being discovered and patched right away. The author of Omen had to re-write the entire addon for the 2.4 patch due to the combat log changes, and it's not completely bug-free yet (as you can tell when you switch to anything but single target mode).
